It all starts with a moment. A story worth capturing. Maybe it’s a message that needs to be heard, a highlight worth sharing, or a creative idea that deserves the spotlight. That’s what this portfolio is about. Over the past few years, I’ve built a collection of video work that reflects not just technical skill but perspective, growth, and purpose. The way you tell a story matters, and video has always been my favorite way to do it. I’m not here to sound overly polished. I’m here to sound like me. Out of all the content out there, this is mine. And if you don’t hear my voice in it, I’ve still got work to do.
This satirical ad was created as a project for my Digital Media class, taking a humorous jab at Arby’s with a mock anti-commercial. It blends editing, voiceover, and timing to exaggerate the brand’s image in a playful, over-the-top way. The goal was to practice creative direction while experimenting with parody and commercial-style production.
For this TV Production project, my group and I created a trailer for an original film concept titled High School Movie, inspired by the upbeat, theatrical style of High School Musical. We blended music, choreography, and over-the-top high school drama to capture the tone and energy of a classic teen musical. With stylized shots, playful acting, and creative editing, the trailer showcased our ability to develop a concept and bring it to life in a fun, engaging way.
For this digital media project, my friend and I recreated a classic Scooby-Doo chase scene, complete with wild, exaggerated antics and comedic timing. We ran through the halls, turning corners and dodging obstacles, all while staying true to the iconic slapstick humor and chaos of the original Scooby-Doo chases. The result was a fun, fast-paced sequence that paid homage to the timeless cartoon while showcasing our creativity and teamwork in the process.
This project was an over-the-top parody inspired by the drama-filled style of reality TV’s most iconic franchise. The Real Housewives of Creekside High took everyday school life and turned it into a hilarious and exaggerated spectacle, complete with fake feuds, dramatic cutaways, and classic reality show tropes. Filled with satire, sharp editing, and playful performances, the segment highlighted our ability to mix humor, storytelling, and strong production skills into one unforgettable spoof.
For this Halloween special, my group and I combined two festive events into one exciting package. We kicked things off at the pumpkin patch, capturing the fall spirit and fun activities. Then, we shifted gears to the pumpkin carving contest, where creativity and competition went hand in hand. Originally aired on 10/30 and 10/31, I had the segments merged into a larger, spooky-filled news package, bringing together the best of Halloween fun in a single, entertaining feature for my portfolio.
For this news package, my group and I took inspiration from Impractical Jokers, hitting the school halls to pull off hilarious pranks on unsuspecting students and teachers. From awkward interactions to outrageous dares, we captured it all in a fun-filled, laugh-out-loud segment. The result was a true Creekside-style prank video, showcasing our creativity and humor in every moment.
In this news package, my group and I took a playful approach to educating teachers about brain rot, a humorous concept that highlights the effects of overstimulation and information overload. We crafted a comedic yet informative segment, blending exaggerated examples with clever commentary to make a lighthearted point. The package brought a fresh, creative twist to educational content, using humor to engage both students and teachers while showcasing our skills in delivering a fun, engaging message.
This news package was the first in our Black History Month series, “The Heroes of Black History: Past & Present,” and focused on LeBron James not just for his accomplishments on the court, but for his powerful influence off of it. We explored how LeBron has impacted Black culture through activism, philanthropy, and his role as a public figure who speaks out on social issues. The segment highlighted how his legacy extends beyond basketball, inspiring the next generation to lead with purpose, pride, and power.
Shadows of St. Augustine is an award-winning documentary where my group and I explored the haunted side of one of America’s oldest cities. We visited historic sites, investigated ghost stories, and captured eerie, atmospheric footage to bring St. Augustine’s supernatural legends to life. Blending research, storytelling, and cinematic visuals, this piece offered a chilling, immersive look into the city's mysterious past—and earned recognition for its production quality and narrative depth.
For this man-on-the-street style news package, my group and I interviewed students about their excitement for the upcoming Minecraft movie. We asked for their thoughts, favorite moments from the movie, and iconic catchphrases like “Chicken Jockey” capturing the genuine hype and nostalgia surrounding the franchise. The result was a fun, energetic segment that combined pop culture, humor, and student voices into a lighthearted and engaging feature.
